The San Francisco Round Cable Railing System is one of our most popular systems.  Cable fittings that are through bolted into the posts transition seamlessly from cable to post.  Due to this manufacturing, the San Francisco system cannot adapt to the angle of stairs – it must be mounted on a flat surface.  The streamlined design is often likened to aeronautical applications.  This system consists of round posts, cable tensioners, and cable enders.  Handrail tubes, cable, and base covers must also be purchased to complete the system.  Some customers may opt for wooden top rail, which must be sourced locally.

Posts are offered at standard 36″ and 42″ heights.  42″ posts may be installed no more than 4 feet away from each other.  We recommend installing 36″ posts 5 feet apart.  We can custom fabricate posts to the height you need for your project!
